It's Almost Summer Bike Ride XI

On June 28, 2008 we had an It's Almost Summer Bike Ride XI on the path along the D&R feeder canal from Washington's Crossing to Bulls Island and return. We ate lunch at the Lambertville Station on the way back.

The ride was a 27 mile round trip.

THere were six of us this year: Norm Jarosik, research physicist; Norm's friends Enno and Cristina Peters from Queens, Scott Yost, physics lecturer, Bogdan Stoica, rising junior, and me, Ed Groth, physics faculty.

Almost Summer Ride About a mile south of Lambertville, we stopped to walk out on the wing dam. Here are Scott, Bogdan, Enno, Cristina, and Norm. Unfortunately, I got the camera in manual mode and overexposed a few pictures. Almost Summer Ride A couple was kayaking on the Delaware.
