At the parking lot on Washington Road just east of Lake Carnegie: Sasha, Lu, Vincent, Marilyn, Susan, and Scott. We're almost ready to start.
A little north of Princeton, looking across Lake Carnegie to some of the nice houses next to the lake.
On this part of the ride, Vincent was right behind me and Scott was behind him.
There were a lot of people enjoying the path today. Here's a couple of joggers and a couple of bikers (not part of our group).
Now Vincent is ahead. The canal is on the right and the lake on the left.
Lu is just behind, Sasha is behind him and next in line seems to be Marilyn.
Later on, I was at the end. Susan is just in front and Lu is in front of her.
We stopped for a short break at Griggstown. A horseback rider was taking her horse off. There was some evidence of the horse on the trail (another good reason for fenders!).

Lu, Susan, Robin, and Sasha at Griggstown.

Marilyn and Scott at Griggstown.

The farthest point of the ride was Blackwells Mills, about 12 miles from where we started. Here are Scott, Marilyn, Robin and Susan. They're looking across the road where a group on a canoe trip were finishing and someone fell in the canal trying to get out of the canoe. Don't worry, the water's not very deep!

At Blackwells Mills, Marilyn, Robin, Susan, Sasha, Lu, and Vincent.
We rode 9 miles back to Kingston where we had lunch at Good Time Charley's. Here are Susan and Robin walking toward the entrance and Sasha, Vincent, and Lu locking up their bikes.
Scott and Marilyn make a bike rack out of the handicapped railing!
Inside Charley's are Lu, Sasha, Marilyn, Robin, Susan, Scott and Vincent. After lunch, Robin and Susan rode back to Griggstown where they live (so they got about 38 miles on the day) and the rest of us returned to the parking lot on Washington Road (for 24 miles). Unfortunately, Sasha's freewheel broke - the gears turned forward without turning the wheel forward. He refused my offer to return with my van and give him a lift, so he had a 3 mile walk to get home!
